![]() ![]() I thought it was toast, and a local lab confirmed my initial prognosis after taking a quick look at the roll. What I didn’t realize was that perhaps due to the fact that the camera hadn’t been used in decades, the film was wound very loosely in the takeup spool, causing the edges of the roll to be exposed to light when I opened the camera to retrieve the film. After finishing it up over the course of a shoot, the camera used its autowind feature to get the exposed roll fully off the original spool. Let me explain:įor my first time shooting with the camera, I excitedly used a roll of Provia - my very first experience with slide film. ![]() It’s perhaps the most cursed camera I’ve owned, although this has very little to do with the camera itself. My journey with the camera was absolutely not a pleasure, however. ![]()
